2023 RPAC Auction

This past Thursday, the GIAR Governmental Affairs and RPAC committee hosted a very successful RPAC (REALTOR® Political Action Committee) Auction fundraiser! RPAC ensures that your interests are represented when laws, ordinances, and regulations are being enacted. When RPAC decides whether to contribute to candidates, the only consideration is how supportive they are on real estate and property rights issues. As an organization that represents REALTORS®, RPAC doesn’t consider other kinds of issues. Contributing to RPAC is an investment in your profession. Contributing to RPAC is an investment in your profession!

There are so many people to thank for the success of the event! Dana Tucker-Hill and the members of the committee spent several volunteer hours securing donations for the auction, inviting GIAR members to attend, and helping set up the items. A special thank you to Stephen Moreno, a mortgage lender with Capital City Home Loans. Also, to GAR Political Advocacy staff members, Maria Marsh, and Jane Anne Bowen for helping the GIAR Staff prepare all of the online auction items! Thank you, Mikey Zinskie, GIAR REALTOR®, and Nakia Brooks, GAR REALTOR® of the Year, for agreeing to be the auctioneers and for taking a crash course in auctioneering. Dorrie Love, member of NAR RPAC Major Investor Council, and Linda Cook, Vice Chair for Georgia RPAC for speaking about the "WHY" of RPAC! You all did a fantastic job! Congratulations to all of our members, affiliates, and guests that attended both the online and the live auction and went home with the amazing items that were up for auction! It was an added pleasure to have REALTOR® members from other local Georgia associations, as well as GAR state staff members who were in town and attended, including the 2023 GAR President, Lisa Sculley! We loved having you all join us! We hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did!

Thank you to Queen and Grant for allowing us to use your beautiful venue! It was more than we could have asked for and to Reid's Apothecary for catering an amazing array of food which was served by an excellent staff! Reid's Apothecary Georgia Association of REALTORS®
