Wire Fraud Notices

Here are several variations of wire fraud notices that can be adopted by brokers and utilized in a variety of formats including, but not limited to, email, websites, and formal letters.

Email notice

An email notice is not a substitute for talking to your clients and other participants in your real estate transactions about email wire fraud, but including a warning will remind them of the danger and show that you are keeping their interests in mind. You can use the following template to create your own wire fraud email notice:

NAR Library & Archive

It’s important to know how to identify and communicate material facts. Never make assumptions or give your best guess. “I don’t know, but I will get that information and get back to you,” is a good response when you need to research a subject before answering a question.

NAR’s Library and Archives offers a variety of research services and thousands of print and digital resources for use by NAR members and association staff. Unlike a general internet search, this service offers information especially for REALTORS®.
