A little bit about Robert:

"Since moving to the Golden Isles, he has lead his offices in such a way that has allowed them to grow from being ranked 6th in the market to 3rd. His leadership and mentoring abilities enabled this growth to occur by him taking the time to work with and teach his current agents to grow their own individual businesses which helped the company and GIAR as a whole..."

"In 2018, he not only taught his own agents about the industry but he was also an instructor for future Realtors® hoping to receive their licenses by teaching two, four month Pre-License classes, and he helped current REALTORS® by teaching 13 Code of Ethics classes and eight Contracts classes..."

"Robert’s most popular class is his Ethics class, and, for him, it is much more than rules being taught to satisfy a continuing education need. This class exemplifies the standards he lives by on a daily basis. He puts the codes and principles of his class into practice in both his personal and professional life. Anyone who has ever worked with him on a committee, board, or a transaction knows that he is highly passionate about this industry and he is constantly looking for ways to better himself, our local association, and Georgia Real Estate as a whole.

"He moved to the Golden Isles four years ago and during that time he has served on various committees and boards at a state, local, and national level. In 2018 he was active locally for both GIAR and the GIMLS by serving as President-Elect for the Board of Directors and serving on the RPAC/Governmental Affairs Committee, the Budget Committee Chairman, the Building Committee Chairman, the Personnel Committee Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer for the MLS Board of Directors, Lockbox Committee Chairman, the Matrix Planning Committee, and the New Website Committee. He also helped our local association reach our RPAC goals by contributing as a Sterling R major donor for RPAC.

"In addition to serving on committees, he also created the 2019 Budget and presented it for approval, attended the GIAR RPAC auction, attended and helped all day with Shop With a Realtor, developed the Lockbox Rules and Regulations, conducted the lockbox audit, attended the majority of the Matrix training classes to answer questions and clarify changes, conducted Reviews of the CEO, and he was a part of updating the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures."

"On the state level with GAR, Robert was active through serving as Brokers Council Chairman, the Audit Committee Chairman, attended every monthly Forms Committee Meeting and served on the Sub-Committees for Residential Forms, Amendments, and Exhibits and Special Stipulations. He also attended all Georgia state conventions in 2018.

"He also serves nationally with NAR through appointment to the NAR Research Committee.  He was diligent in attending the NAR Leadership Retreat in Chicago and the NAR Convention in Boston. In the midst of everything he is a part of, he still found time for personal development and received his RENE designation.

"Not only does he donate his time and talents to real estate, but he is involved in other local organizations. In 2018, he served as the president of the Belle Point Home Owners Association, contributed to Shane’s Crib Substance Abuse Center, attended the annual meeting and donated to Skylark, donated to Habitat for Humanity, participated in First Responder’s Appreciation Day, participated in a pet adoption with Coastal Animal Rescue, helped collect and distribute 100 blankets and 300 pairs of socks to Glynn County’s homeless population at Manna House, and last but not least collected and donated Toys For Tots.

"REALTOR® of the Year is an award that should be given to a REALTOR® who goes above and beyond the call of duty for our Association and our industry as a whole. Robert was once asked why he was so involved and he replied, “I believe you shouldn’t just take from organizations you are a part of, but you should give back. Your goal should be to make it better than it was before you joined.” It is safe to say that he lives up to his beliefs. This Association and the Golden Isles community is truly a better place because of his membership, dedication, and leadership. Robert Kozlowski exemplifies the very essence of what it means to be a REALTOR®."
